UN-WIRED

Snappin my fingers cause I feel so FREEE! I can blog freely again because I thankfully have wireless set-up. The husb and I had quite a quaint lil evening of Pand Ex for dinner, stop in at Costco for some stinky protein mix stuff and a stop at Best Buy for a new wireless router and home to watch Teen Mom {well I watched TM and he played on his IPAD} ! I didn't realize not having wireless would be so annoy. But it really truly is unbearable...for us at least. I can't spend too much time at the computer when it's plugged into the wall and I'm forced to be sitting at a chair. I'm not a chair sitter. I'm a comfort addict. I like to snuggle and slouch. For examp..my situation right this second... tucked in me bed, with me computer propped on a pillow, and a DDP on me nightstand, and me Hoosher cuddled up next to me. Heavenly haven. Christofferson will walk in the door from the gym any second and I will make him get the clothes out of the dryer so I don't even have to get up ever again and I will feel complete.

Thank you Netgear...you've made my bubble a happy place to be.

Happy Birthday Happy Baby

Kimmie and I have been planning a baby shower for Christie for weeks. We LOVE our oldest sister so so much and are so so happy she gave us another niece to obsess over. That sis KizKat and I love to plan a good party. BUT we couldn't have the celebration until Kimmie AND Mombo were in town. Bad plan peeps. This ordeal is why people have baby showers months in advance. You can't makes plans around when a baby decides it wants to come outta there. ya just can't.

So we scheduled the shower for Christie's Birthday so we could have a shower AND birthday party in one. Baby was originally due dated July 19th. And the party was planned for the 16th. Then the due date was CHANGED to the 9th but baby didn't come on the due date. So an induction was planned for the 13th. But had to be pushed to the 14th. Then the induction got pushed back another day due to an overloaded hospital. So she didn't even get to go in until the 15th and baby didn't want to arrive until the 16th. This made for a very uncomft mommy and a very "unable-to-happen" party. We just wanted that baby to love on. And Christie just wanted to not be in the hospital for her birthday. But she was outta the hospital the next morning and was determined to have the party before everyone left town. So just over a day after delivering the lil cupcake we decided to make the party happen. whew doggies! Mommy gets what mommy wants. and mommy wanted a party.

So we got to have the Baby'Cakes' themed party!!!! Weeee! It was so much fun putting all of our ideas together with Kimmie. And o'course mom worked out everything we couldn't. It was perfect and the Lotts all loved it. Lots of cakes themed things. Presents. photo booth. lovie loving guests. Milk and cookies station {my fave}. wish tree. Games. And just the best way to celebrate 2 birthdays and a baby. It turned out just the way we wanted. The best first party ever for Baby Lydia...if i do say so myself ;)

Feast your eyes on the cake-ness...

Welcome the new little BabyCake to the world!

My living room all ready to roll. oh hello eggplant walls..nice to see you.

Lydia Jane

She arrived! My sweet adorable precious pleasantly pink niece joined us this past Saturday. And she is perfect. What a beautiful day in Mesa, AZ. The day Lydia Jane Lott came into the world and wrapped us all around her lil 1 inch long fing.
My first time holding Liddy. She looks so peaceful and fresh from heaven. She's only 2 or 3 hours old here...

Lucy and Lydia looking at each other for the first time. I refuse to believe that there's anything sweeter.

She was born on her mother/my sister's 30th birthday. What are the odds really? Their first daughter was born on Kimmie's birthday and their second was born on Christie's birthday. That means their next child will be a girl and will be born on my birthday. Or I will be skipped and it will be a boy born on Scottee's birthday. I am the middle of 5...I tend to get looked over... Either way I am in love with these bubbins. This little Lott family lights up my life :)

Cupcakes, dogs and babies please.

Sister KizKat came on over from San Di-AGO to hang out with pregnant sister Christie a.k.a Kiki Frog a.k.a keeks and to house and Hooshie sit for us while we were in Wash. And when we came home she just couldn't bring herself to part with us so she went ahead and stayed for 4 more days then had to leave for stinky ol' overrated work. But it was a great time. ANNND she is coming back tomorrow because Keeks is getting induced and gonna have her baby TOMORROW!!!!! So Mombo is in town and Kizkat is coming tomorrow and baby button is coming to the world tomorrow and we are having Christie's baby shower/birthday party on Saturday and it's gonna be so much fun and all is well in the land of OZ. I can't wait!

And we haven't bought a lawn mower yet so the grass in the backyard is prob gonna be nast and overgrown and ghetto whitetrash when peeps come over on Sat. yum.
How cute is my neph-dog Kobe? He is Hooshie's absolute BFF.

Been meaning to find this place since May. It won Cupcake wars...and its like 4 mins from my house so we obvi went and tried the cuppies.
scrumptious. But my fave part was the glitter in the frosting. Glitter always wins.

I'm feeding Pop Rocks to the dogs and Luli. They all loved them o'course. And I'm the fave. I love life with dogs and babies ;)

A Blast.

Marysville is fantastic. It's the city that my in-laws live in in Washington. We flew on up there for fourth of July weekend to go through the temple with our sister Bethany {she's going on a Mish to Brazil!} and also got to celebrate Independence day with the Hayes family and other family friends. And the whole thing was just a big ol' blast. literally. get it?.....blast...like because of the fireworks. Hilar.

As usual we ate so well. something we look forward to every time. Those Hayes peeps...they know how to do it. Bahama Breeze in SeaTac right when we get there every time. Port of Subs. Maggianos in Bellevue after the temple {amaze italian. and best cheesecake ever in life.} Home cooked BBQ. Ribs and Steak for fourth of July. Muah..muah muah muah. We love to eat.

We had the BEST time. Absolutely. LAUGHED til my cheeks hurt {which was like the first 5 mins. because they are all just the funniest}. went through a beautiful session at the Seattle temple. visited the very interesting Boom city for fireworks. went to a perfect 4th of July party with gorgeous WA weather, cute kids, die-worthy food and profesh level fireworks. ahhh makin memories. We won't see Bethany for a year and a half so it was essential that we had this bonding time. And it was beautiful. And she is beautiful. Makin changes in the world. So proud and happy she is my/our sister.

{The whole family at the temple. how tender}

{That's my tough look. Pathetic i know. Shoulda just looked cute like Listy and Bethany.}
{love this. This is after we got home from the fourth party...it's sometime after midnight...shootin even more fireworks in the cel-de-sac..lightin up the whole neighborhood. and running away terrified. haha}

{the cute lil missionary/star of the weekend..and lil Murph...the fireworks were a traumatic experience for him...}
