Today it's all about him.

Well he did win the famous Bach-ette draft challenge...fair and square. So he got his choice of any meal in the world...and Mr. Protein-is-my-Life chose ribeye, asparagus and sweet potates. Fitting. And I even let him grill it himself. And then sit in my pink floatie. It was my service for the day. Next season I am going to be a serious Bach prediction competitor....and I may have said that last time when he won...but this time I mean it.

So between this grilled meal, the day date with our swadorable {sweet & adorb} nieces and the thunderstorm that is happening right this moment....it's been a lovely Sat. Have I ever mentioned that I live for weekends? Because I do.

4EVER LOVE

Jef one Eff + Barbie Emily = LOVE 4ever

Absolutely loved the finale. They are SO cute together.

Not even ashamed of watching TV for 3 straight hours.

Chris is the WINNER of this season's Bach-ette picks. Again.

Saturday we are going to give him the proper celebration.
And it will be documented.

P.S. Emily's 'engagement' dress. Gorgeous.
Engagement ring = $150K. jaw dropped.

PLEASE make it last. Fingers crossed.

At the Aqua.

Aqua-reeee-ummmm. That’s how it’s pronounced...in case you didn't know. We ditched work & went to the Tempe Aquarium to celebrate my lovely sister Christie and her Daughter Lydia’s birthday {same exact day} last week. It was a better-than-expected attraction watching all the swimming-in-their-own-poop sea life swim around in circles trying to find a way out of never ending clear tanks. I just feel bad for those guys. Not for the fact that they are all in captivity. I’m totally fine with that. I mean they get protection from deadly sharks & octopiii and get their favorite foods just put right into their homes everyday without fail. I'd take that. But I do just feel bad for their minds & memories. Some of those suckers only have 5 second memories {those fish behind me and happy face up there}. 5 seconds and then rewind! There is no point to their lives. None whatsoev. And THAT is why lots of vegetarians eat fish. Or so I imagine. I actually have no idea and only knew one vegetarian who did eat fish. And that is what I ponder on at night. So yeah...we went to the aquarium and had fun. Sea turtle, sting rays, eels and all!

Red, White and Blue...oh my.

The one day in the whole calendar year that we actually welcome the weather to be scorching hot enough to melt our freckled skin off so that we can BBQ and swim all red, white and blue day. And that is the one day that there is a T-storm in the freakin forecast and it was like 80 degs. No matter for our lot...we moved the BBQ inside and focused on the food instead of the swim. Worth it as all of it was pleasing to the pupils as well as the taste buds. see...

{Look at my mom eating 28 cake pops down there. can't decide what's cuter...the food or the mom}

Chris, Kimmie and I brilliantly planned to attend the DBacks game on the night of the fourth. Brilliant because it's in a closed-in stadium with sweet AC and a huge FIREWORK show at the conclus. It was a jam packed merry mad house but lotsa fun for us humans. At about inning three I was bored and was forced to entertain myself with cold stone {fudge & caramel} and popcorn {lackluster}. Then I moved on to taking pictures of us-selves. And then I moved onto watching the people of the hour…like the lady with the limbs way too skinny for the amount of boob she had. And the other older gentle-lady with the 3 inch long arm hairs and the ability to slam cold ones. Hey…I’m not judgin…just appreciating my surroundings.

{That bottom left pic. That is a full blown pool in the outfield. Because why not?}

The fireworks/music show was amaze and worth the wait. Maybe the only thing that could have made the night better would be if the DBacks had won so that when the game was over and everyone was leaving and I waved my mini American flag out of our sunroof and yelled Happy Fourth of July to the masses of people {to try to make some friends} who were walking away from the stadium... I would’ve gotten more than one lonely & pathetic “woohoo”...

I still love the USA anyway. real LOVE. Until next time mini flag...
